Good Standing
The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Community High School Good Standing policy sets the expectations for attendance and punctuality, course participation and behaviour.
Each student begins the school year with good standing and abides by school expectations in order to maintain their good standing.
In order to maintain Good Standing, students are required to meet the following expectations:
- Students have an attendance of 90% or above
- Students consistently demonstrate expected behaviours as per ROAR Matrix
- Students adhere to the school’s dress code
All students who maintain good standing are invited to participate in reward activities which may include:
- Excursions
- Incursions
- Country Week
- In-school reward activities
Good Standing status is reviewed at the discretion of the Student Services Coordinator/Deputy Principal in collaboration with classroom teachers/Heads of Learning Area
Students who remain on good standing at the end of each year will be provided with a certificate of recognition for their positive contribution to the school community.
